Craft and creativity come together through the work of our hands

Furthering fibre art and craft in the Shuswap

Our goal is to bring the art and craft of weaving, spinning and the related supportive crafts to the larger community and to bring more practitioners to the crafts

We hold workshops and skills-sharing sessions regularly – both for our members and for the public. If you’re interested in learning how to spin, weave, felt or just want to explore the world of fibre arts, join us!

We actively focus on improving our members’ skills and maintaining the highest possible standards of excellence in all work

To that end we collect literature and other materials relating to the art and craft of weaving, spinning and related crafts, and make these available to all members of the guild. We also maintain a tool and equipment library for the use of our members for group projects and member rental.

Regular activities, irregular workshops, gatherings and skills sharing: join us to get involved with an inspiring group of skilled artists and artisans!

See our Events page for more details, and Contact us to become a member.
